Inspired by Patti Clark’s journey of self-discovery, sobriety, and personal reinvention, this exercise is designed to help you explore your own recovery path, identify emotional triggers, and cultivate a deeper sense of connection.

Objective:

To reflect on your recovery journey, recognize patterns, and develop a personal roadmap for emotional sobriety and self-growth.


Step 1: Map Your Recovery Journey

Take a blank sheet of paper or open a journal and draw a timeline of your recovery journey. Mark key moments such as:
✅ The moment you realized alcohol was a problem
✅ Your first attempt at sobriety
✅ Setbacks or relapses (if any) and what led to them
✅ Breakthroughs in your mindset or habits
